IMPORTANT AND WONDERFUL INFORMATION ABOUT 2010 ORIENTATION FOR MWV AND WVOT
The 2010 Miss West Virginia/West Virginia’s Outstanding Teen pageant season is well underway! Before we know it, we will be celebrating the wonderful Year Talia and Jackie have had representing our organization and also crowning a new Miss WV and a new WV’s Outstanding Teen.
As always, our kickoff event this year will be Orientation. However, what will make this year’s Orientation weekend more special and exciting than ever is the location…….
We will be hosted by the world famous, West Virginia treasure, The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. To match this amazing venue, we will have many new, exciting and fabulous events as part of Orientation.
Attendees will include all 2010 miss and teen contestants, parents as well as local directors and committees and the state organization. More details about the agenda will be coming soon but for now, it is important for you to make your reservations.
The dates for Orientation are April 23-25, 2010. We will begin Orientation on Friday evening at approximately 6:30-7:00 PM.
For our event, The Greenbrier is offering an amazing rate of $139.00 per night, double occupancy. If you are traveling alone and would like to be paired with another contestant as a roommate, let me know and we will work to make that happen.
Orientation will end at approximately noon on Sunday, April 25, 2010.
We will have events all day on Saturday and will likely run very late on both Friday and Saturday night. Based upon the sort of events we are planning for the weekend, you will probably have a few ‘wardrobe changes’ each day so staying at The Greenbrier will be critical to your ability to be prepared and on time for all of the events we have planned.
